Notable Attributes
White skin with blue undertones, big pointed ears, pale blue mouths, tough interiors meant for consuming crystals.
Their eye color will always match their hair color, hair dye does not exist on their planet, the most common hair color is blond and navy blue, but their hair could be any other color or even a mix.
The tallest recorded Chandalyn was 6’0”, the shortest was 4’0”, their average life expectancy is about 300 human years (150 Chandalyn years).
Chandalyns do not need to eat, they simply inhale crystal dust made in little packets for nutrients. A very plain food pallet, though they more commonly dissolve it in drinks and have it that way.

They will always be found wearing clothes covering everything besides the head and hands, as it is customary.
Culture
The Chandalyns are very perfectionistic and obsessed with their views of ‘perfection and modesty.’ They aren’t allowed to show any skin besides their faces and hands. Every one of them must wear a back brace and keep proper posture at all times, any slouching or bending over in the presence of another is shameful and inappropriate. They must wear knee spikes to avoid any ‘inappropriate’ sitting positions (e.g. crossing leg over leg). Hair must be kept in loose styles (females must have hair in a long enough length to cover their necks) and any form of running is regarded as disrespectful.
All of them have a ‘special talent,’ and it’s normally whatever job they’ll end up having, as it is almost always one of their crystals (and the only crystal known through studies to be ‘true’).
A Chandalyn that has their specific crystal for their job has been known to naturally have mannerisms, appreciations, personalities and other characteristics tailored towards said job, making it their best match.
