Crystalys is a planet made of a bunch of different colored crystal structures and cascading waterfalls.As it is one of the only substances they have to build with, the inhabitant’s buildings are all made of crystal, that and polished stone and marble. The buildings are built upward in a giant spiral crystalline shape, with giant floating islands around it and waterfalls flowing down. On each island is one of the Houses, where all of the youth stay and live until 18.

Specific details and traits of a Chandalyn is specified at birth depending on the crystals they touch (e.g. their health, appearance, status and job), this happens when a newly born Chandalyn is brought to a special cave and placed in a bed of crystal, once they are placed they are left to be alone for an hour, and when they are seen again, they will be holding some different crystals, their life and upbringing is then determined by the size, shape and colors of the crystals, and they are placed in different houses as such. (They are not raised by birth parents, every one of them are purposeful orphans so they can be given the ‘correct’ upbringing, not soiled by their parents.) All their information is displayed based on their crystals, it’s basically used for everything.
