Chandalyn Brace (Object)

 Chanadalyn Brace

A back brace mandatory for all (Chandalyns) under 18 to wear for all hours except sleeping hours, beginning at the age of 7, made with polished marble and adorned with crystals in a Diamond shape down the back. It gives off an uncomfortable zap if proper posture is not met.

“For to have proper posture is to display the utmost respect to your superiors.”

A small snore slipped the lips of the young Chandalyn as he drooped down to rest on his desk, quickly followed by a surprised yelp as the youth jolted back up into proper posture, the sleepiness gone in an instant. 

“Forgot about your brace again did you?” Eed asked with a small ‘hmph.’

“serves you right, perhaps now you’ll learn when the proper time is to study and when to sleep. Off you go then, we’ve done enough today.”

Cristin slipped off the chair to go wash off, giving a small mumble in the process. 

“Well, now I’m not tired.”
